The Singapore Side Trip
It was a side trip to Singapore on our way to Indonesia. Just in time with Singapore's 50 years celebration. We only have until early in the afternoon to enjoy Singapore before our next flight to Bali.
We arrived at Changi Airport at around 1:00 in the morning and waited for a few hours to start our day. At around 7:00 am, left the airport to have breakfast at Lau Pa Sat in Raffles.
Right after breakfast, we walked all the way to Marina Bay Sands. It was a quiet Saturday morning walk that took us 20 to 30 minutes.
After a few more minutes, we have finally reached Marina Bay Sands. We go straight for the skypark. But it was still too early for the 10:00 am opening. So we decided to make use of our time wisely. We explored Marina Bay Sands. We walked and walked and walked. Even took pictures in every place possible. It was a productive day indeed! It was already past 10:00 am when we went back. And it was time for the famous Skypark!
A breathtaking view of Singapore from up above!
Afterwards, we took more pictures from outside, below the park and nearby must-see tourist spots.
We, then, ended our half day tour in Singapore with a lunch at a Chinese restaurant at Marina Bay Sands. We would like to thank "Gilda" for being our tour guide for the day! :D It was one of the most productive half day of my life.
Until next time Singapore! :D Next stop, BALI! :D

my kind of love story
. . . . .
Tall? yes!
dark? na-uh!
fair-skinned? yes!
chinky eyes? yes!
gentleman? of course!
sweet? will do :)
good sense of humour? I guess it's a must!
It's kinda weird but I also like to hold hands with someone who has big soft hands. Maybe I just like the feeling that it gives me. It's like I'm in my blanket. I feel safe and comfortable.
This is my kind of guy. Ideal guy, if you may say.
November 2010.
After long years of praying, looking and waiting, finally I met him. I met my significant other. Honestly, I do not know that yet. He who doesn't even care about his studies. He who is too busy annoying me during classes. And he who is too loud. Oh, how I hate loud people.
It is the start of the semester, and as usual, course outlines are being discussed. Things to be done and not to be done. Then, "go and group yourselves for we will be having reporting sessions starting next week. I will be assigning the topics once you've settled with your groups.", the professor said. Every semester is a new chapter in college life. You get to know new faces for you to like or even to hate. You get to meet familiar faces again unexpectedly. But what excites me is the idea of meeting your future love. Ooookay. So there are 4 of us in the group and there is this one guy that is not participating. -.- We've already distributed topics and all but still, no response from this err guy.
Christmas Vacation.
I really love this season. It's one thing I look forward to every year. I don't know, it gives me that happy feeling, Christmas spirit as we all know it. BUT, as the season pass I also feel nervous. "January na! report is upcoming." I was actually talking to myself. hehe . Something hit me. . . Argh! that jock is not yet doing anything to help.
January 2011. Classes resume.
Dismissal. I stayed in the classroom to talk to this guy. "Hey, i'll give you my number and then text me your topic, or if you have any question just text me." The guy just smiled at me. O_O
Of course I did that. I am not that cruel anyway. I gave him chance to somehow contribute. Besides, it's his grade at stake.
Night came. Err. "Hi Leader! May name is Bond, James Bond. hehe." -.- I was like, "Badtrip, ano ba yan!Ang ine-expect ko we'll be talking about our report pero hindi" But again, I was only talking to myself. hehehe I got lots of texts, he flooded me actually. Annoying, I know. He even called me for nothing. Honestly, I can feel his eagerness and interest towards . . . me. Yes , me and not the course. Badtrip no? One week. We have a week left to polish everything. But he shows no interest at all. So, I was like > "Hey, you just do the summary of the report." At last, he agreed because he just can't disagree. hehe
Days pass and we always get to exchange text messages. Instant text mate, so I guess it's fine. Life at school will be somehow thrilling. I know it will be.
"So that's it. That concludes our report". Whoo! Finally, we're done. I guess we did good. And yes he did the conclusion which means he won't fail the course. I'm actually relieved in helping him. Helping him not to be removed from the group because he was almost removed by the professor. Well, I did the persuasion. :p
*January 2014
So, it was how it started. I didn't like him at first. But now, that's the total opposite of what I feel. I am so in love with this guy. I must say that he is really someone easy to love and get along with. In almost three years, I have known him enough to realise when he is angry or just faking it. Well, either way I am afraid. hehe I don't want him getting angry at anyone anytime. But I commend him for being too patient with me. I know most of the time I am too persistent that it annoys him. I make him sad. I disappoint him. I give him headaches. Still, he won't get mad at me. Sometimes it is frustrating because he would resort to cold treatment. It's maddening. In the end, I would be the one pleasing him. But it's okay. hehe Would you guys want to know when the "US" started? Well. . .
It happened February 14, 2011.
flashback
We were at school with our own group of friends. Doing nothing, I guess. hehe No classes. Students are everywhere but the classrooms. So we decided to go out on a date. We don't want to end the Valentine's day doing nothing. It started with a sweet 5-minute jeepney ride. Followed by a mouthwatering lunch in the mall and a good visit at his house. A very fulfilling day indeed. First time that I had a date, real date, on that day. I believe this is the start of all the "firsts" that we will be doing together in the future. I am so excited! This will be a long ride and I will make sure it'll be worth it.
flashback ends
It has been more than four years now. Four years together and getting stronger. We've gone through a lot. Petty quarrels, misunderstandings, and even cold treatments. There were also those times when I thought it's already the end. And I was like, "maybe we are not meant to be". But who would have thought, we made it through those years. Four years of adventures, I must say.
They say, "Relationships need hard work." Hard work, simply because there is nothing that falls into place without us doing anything. There are lots of words that we associate with this kind of relationship. Trust, Understanding, Patience, Empathy, Sacrifice, Giving, Happiness, and of course, Love. Yes I agree with you all but I must add, communication is the key to a successful relationship. I can attest to that. Be open with your partner like he is your best friend. Tell him everything, but not everything.
Keep on loving. ^_^
