This coming May 13, 2013, the Philippines is going to have its midterm election. Midterm because the election is done during the middle term of office of the president. Those who are registered will be electing for senators, party list representatives, district members, governors, vice-governors, mayors(both city and municipal), vice-mayors(both city and municipal), provincial legislatures, city councils and municipal councils. The election for the baranggay officials will be held on October this year.
Have you decided on who to vote already? Are they the right people for the posts? Think about it. Let's do our research and together let's place the RIGHT people to the government.
Here are some information that we voters need to know about our candidates. I found some sites that will be very helpful to us.

"God is good all the time, all the time God is good"
"God is good all the time, all the time God is good"
Being a believer of any religion stems from having faith. It is faith that gives us hope to hold on, and to believe that problems will pass and that in the end everything will be alright. There are people who are like Thomas, who do not believe until he himself saw Jesus, and there are those who are not. It is faith that makes us believe in Him even though we haven't seen Him. Maybe it's because He has answered A LOT of our prayers. Maybe it's because He is always by our sides at all times, whether it is sorrow or happiness. Or maybe because our friends or relatives have shared their testimonies on Jesus' works. Still, it is faith.
I myself have experienced His powerful works and I believe they are blessings. There are a lot of times that I pray and He answers me back. Prayers should always be praise, thank then ask. We should give praise to Him first and thank Him for everything He has given and done for us. Then, that is when we can ask Him for our intentions.
Having another day to live by is one of the blessings I receive and to be thankful for. We are blessed to have our eyes opened again to another bright sunny morning and continue our lives with the ones we love. We should be thankful, we can see the sun and feel the wind, because there are those who cannot anymore. For hearing the traffic noises or the birds singing, we are blessed. For having the ability to say and do what we feel and know is right, we are blessed. For having everything we have now, we are truly blessed. Let's start to count every blessing we receive and I am sure we'll all be amazed on how rich we are. Let's start today. Be grateful to everything. Be good to everyone. Then God will do the rest. You'll be rewarded and you'll feel that you have the fulfillment of your soul. There is no harm is trying not to recognize the negative things that happened or is happening. It's part of life. It is just how we are going to handle everything. Through God, everything is possible. Let's be positive and believing. Have faith and be blessed. Have a good day!

Holy Week in Quezon Province
As children of God, it is expected of us to participate in church activities as a commemoration of what Jesus' has done for us all. This is also the time to renew our faith and remember the sacrifices He has done to save us. The masses, processions, and various presentations portraying what had happened in Jesus' time, is the very least that we can do to acknowledge and show our being THANKFUL to HIM.
It has been the family's tradition to do Visita Iglesia. Although it was only a few years back when we started it. This year's route included few towns in the south such as Gumaca, Pitogo, Gen. Luna, Mulanay, Catanauan and, Macalelon. All of them are towns in Quezon and their churches are under the Diocese of Gumaca.
Here are few shots of the churches in Quezon.

Because it's Famous, it's Folded and Hung!
Famous Salon by Folded and Hung
At last! I had my hair colored yesterday! I've been planning of doing this way back. It's just that a lot of things made me think twice like 'where would I have it?', 'what color would fit me?', 'when will I go to a salon', and of course 'HOW MUCH will it cost me?'. The basic questions that pop to one's mind when it comes to pampering herself. Finally, it's done! I have my first color and it is Dark Brown and Auburn with Red Highlights. I so love my colors! In fact, I am thinking of trying a new one next month. Maybe a bit lighter to match the season. You should try it too! :D It's cool to have your hair color changed once in a while. It shows your character and personality. At the same time, I believe that our hair gives us confidence to welcome and face our everyday life. It's Girl Power!
So, here's my new hair color. At first, I thought the color is too blunt. But it's not. :) After the blow-dry, I saw the colors! And they're what I wanted. A mix of red and brown without making the hair too eye-catchy.
